Of all the players in the little league, Harold was the littlest.

No matter how hard he tries, Harold is no good at baseball. The ground balls always bounce over his head, and his little legs never get him to the pop flies fast enough. So the only place Coach Lombardi puts him is on the bench. Until one day, during a very important game, Harold gets his big chance to show that being little isnt so bad after all.
 

About the Author 作者介绍

Syd Hoff is the author and illustrator of many popular childrens books, including the classic I Can Read Books Danny and the Dinosaur, Stanley, and The Horse in Harrys Room. He also illustrated the I Can Read Book Dont Be My Valentine by Joan Lexau.
Born and raised in New York City, Mr. Hoff studied at the National Academy of Design. His cartoons were a regular feature in such magazines as The New Yorker and Esquire for many years and were syndicated in newspapers across the country.

Mr. Hoff lives in Miami Beach, Florida
