作者简介

Lauren Child ，1967 生于英国，曾经在英国曼彻斯特工艺学校和伦敦艺术学院习画，毕业之后，萝伦以工艺技师的身份跟随她的父亲从事艺术工作并参展，之后，她到处旅行了六个月，思考自己要从事的工作，于是她开始经营一家灯具公司“Chandeliers For The People”，设计并制作灯罩。业务经理建议她尝试写写儿童图书。终于，1999年出版了Clarice Bean。她的作品表现结合了她对童年的迷恋并开创出她在设计和绘画上的天分。曾获得英国凯特格林威大奖的Lauren Child擅长多媒材拼贴手法，例如相片、织布、电脑绘图与不同字体等等，各种元素的结合使作品表现丰富且多元，当然还有幽默有趣的文字。
